Obligatory Christmas Post

OK. So...yeah. I've been so freaking busy lately that I haven't made half the posts I promised to make.

Well, I arrived in BC on Thursday, and I'm here till the 7th, so I'vegot a LOT of vacation time. Another 12 days of it, to be precise.

So what does that mean? Well, it means that I'm working on a revamp of The Way Down, as well as a resdesign of the setting to make it playable as an RPG using the new Wild Talents rules (my limited edition, preordered hardcover should be sitting in my mailbox when I get back to dorm, along with a few books I ordered). It also means I'll try to make a few more posts.

Anyway, Christmas. First off, Happy Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanza Greetings, etc. etc. etc. to all of you. On the Mayan calendar we have about 5 years left until the world ends.

Christmas has gone VERY well. Happy to see my family, and its all been a lot of fun. Made out like a bandit, and its NOT DONE YET. My father has, apparently, still got about half my presents in Ontario to give to me. Dear frickin god.

Biggest thing I got so far was the money from Mom that sent me to ICC back in October. That was...incredible.

Dad got me a new digital camera. VERY schway. A lot of fun, and its got an INSANE shutter speed on it. Just beautiful.

Speaking of insane presents given to me by my father, between him and Grandma I now have the ENTIRE James Bond collection. All 20 movies. 40 discs total. FOURTY DISCS! They weighed damn near as much as the turkey.

I also got X3, seasons 1 and 2 of Batman: Beyond, the Marvel Encyclopedia, Gaiman's "Fragile Things", Bourdain's "The Nasty Bits", and...a kitchen calculator. Don't ask.

And, of course, the ever favourite money and gift cards. Just nuttiness.

And soon I shall go to bed. And then get up for the insanity of Boxing Day. Hopefully continue to make out like a bandit. Wish me luck, I may have to employee lethal force in the morning.

Excelsior!
