I hate you, I hate you a lot for knowing about that book now. But I also feel sorry for you, since you had to actually read that travesty of fiction.
I still hate you for putting the images of that novel in my head! Why did you make me watch your review? Why? Aaaaargh
What does the warning in the opening credits say?
"Once you've learned about these books you can't UN-learn them.", lol. I put the warning write in the title for a reason.
While I understand why you dislike this book I will say I enjoyed it for what it is. And I really do think simon r. green is an amazing writer yes some of the things he does in his books tend to get repetitive but that's still not saying he is not a very good author. Not sure if you have read his series The Nightside or my personal favorite Deathstalker. Another of his series that I have really liked of his is Hawk & Fisher but again this is what I like and I won't force my opinions of why I like these books on you let's just say I really enjoyed them and yeah they are entertaining.
Btw I love your series keep up the good work !!
Anonymous,
I'm *VERY* conversant in Green's other works. The only ones I haven't read are the Hawk & Fisher and Deathstalker books. The Nightside novels are a guilty pleasure, but their benefit is that they are *SHORT*.
The Secret Histories novels are too long and tend to be rather fragmented.
